Al-Asas Books is an online bookstore serving the American and Muslim Community of North America. We work with a team of Ulema, Community leaders, Muslim Entrepreneurs, and Knowledgeable readers to curate our selection of books to authenticate the veracity of what is within the book and to provide us with a diverse selection of Authors, Topics, and Genres that are vital for a Muslim reader.
Who are we?
My Name is Muhammad and I am the owner of Al-Asas. A little about me is that I am a seven year Alim student and President of my community's youth group in Ohio. I am an avid reader and book collector. I started Al-Asas Books to fulfill a growing need for providing authentic Islamic literature for the American Muslim community. What really convinced me to step up and go forward with this Idea that I had for many years was listening to Sami Hamdi and embracing his point of reconnecting the stories of the Ummah.
So I with the support of my friends, teachers, ulema, and subject experts, started compiling a list of books and searching for their publishers and distributors to easily provide an all in one place to acquire these books without the fear of reading unreliable and damaging books written by Islamophobes or those who try to distort Islam.
Why the name Al-Asas?
Civilizations are built on a foundation of knowledge. We aim to rebuild and revitalize that Islamic foundation.
